Salsa dancing in Sarasota
Just an hour south of Tampa lies the quiet little beach community of Sarasota, Florida. But don't be deceived, as there are some good places to dance salsa in Sarasota.

There is live Latin entertainment every night of the week but the best Salsa nights are Friday and Sunday. The location is great, as it is on St. Armand's circle.
This place starts happening around 10 p.m. and goes til 2 a.m..
Another option to dance salsa in Sarasota
Right off of Fruitville road, where the old Don Pablo's restaurant used to be is a place that has salsa on Saturday nights. I haven't been to this place yet, but with easy access off the interstate, I will check out this soon!

Luis Enrique in Tampa, March 7th at Busch Gardens
Salsa sensation, Luis Enrique will be performing live at Busch Gardens this Sunday as part of their "Viva la Musica" festival. The festival starts at 11:30 AM and the concert starts at 4PM.
Luis Enrique is a Nicaraguan singer and composer and achieved enormous success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He earned the title "El Principe de la Salsa (The Prince of Salsa). His most recent hit, "Yo No Se MaƱana" has been a huge success and has re-established his career after about a decade of being mostly out of the spot light.
