All White Easter Salsa Jam on 4/3/10

An evening of the hottest Salsa, Mambo, Bachata and Cha-Cha brought to you by DJ Tiguere and John Ramirez. Last year was crazy, this year we are turning up the heat and featuring Guatu!

Sensual Bachata will be hosting the FIRST Island Touch Bachata afterparty. That's right from 3 am - 4 am, Sensual Bachata will be jamming out at the ITDA Studio and will have a few surprises for you as well. You do not want to miss this event.

4.5 hours of workshops during the day, party and shows at night at the spacious Green Parrot. Great dancing floor, killer sound and a bar with drink specials all night for those wearing ALL WHITE.

Workshops Begin at 2 pm at Island Touch Dance Studio:

2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Bachata with Guatu.

3:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Int. - Adv. Bachata Footwork and Turn Patterns with Ataca Jorgie and La Alemana.

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Strip Tease with La Alemana.

Pricing:
All Access Pass for $45.00.
Workshops $15 each or $35 for all.
Social $10 in advance, $15 at the door

There is live Latin entertainment every night of the week but the best Salsa nights are Friday and Sunday. The location is great, as it is on St. Armand's circle.
This place starts happening around 10 p.m. and goes til 2 a.m..

Right off of Fruitville road, where the old Don Pablo's restaurant used to be is a place that has salsa on Saturday nights. I haven't been to this place yet, but with easy access off the interstate, I will check out this soon!

Luis Enrique in Tampa, March 7th at Busch Gardens

Salsa sensation, Luis Enrique will be performing live at Busch Gardens this Sunday as part of their "Viva la Musica" festival. The festival starts at 11:30 AM and the concert starts at 4PM.

Luis Enrique is a Nicaraguan singer and composer and achieved enormous success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He earned the title "El Principe de la Salsa (The Prince of Salsa). His most recent hit, "Yo No Se MaƱana" has been a huge success and has re-established his career after about a decade of being mostly out of the spot light.
